Derby Rules

1.  Entry by donation: $10 per person (does not include launch and parking fees).

2.  Each fisherman must be signed up prior to fishing. Sign up starts at 6 am. Last catch must be turned in by 3 p.m.

3.  Fisherman must have registration tag prior to fishing. The tag must be turned in with catch. Grand prize will go to the largest (by weight) salmonid species caught. In case of a tie, the first fish registered will be awarded grand prize. All other prizes will be awarded for combined weight of salmonid species. Other species will not be weighed and will not qualify for prizes.

Previous winners of the grand prize are ineligible.

4.  All Washington State catch and release fishing rules apply.

5.  Fish will be weighed at headquarters only. Fisherman may not go back out after weigh-in.

6.  No contestant may win more than one prize. In the event of a tie, time recorded will determine placing.

7.  Awards: The Cove as soon after 3 p.m. as weigh-in is complete. Prize recipients not present will be contacted by phone or mail.

8.  Derby is open to everyone, including Trout Unlimited members.

9.  All entrants are responsible for their own actions and well being.
